Durante Kreuk has had a continuous involvement in the development of Whistler as a World Class Ski Resort since the late 1970’s to the present and continues to work on resort developments of varying scales.

DK participated in the development of the original Village where we worked with the project team in the creation of the Village concept and prepared many of the graphic concept plans for the site. DK works alongside developers and municipalities to create an expereince that is both magical and memorable by utilizing features such as natural stone waterfalls, outdoor fireplaces, and enriched planting. With such a captivating natural landscape surrounding, we create places that reflect its beauty but also build on it while respecting the functional needs of a resort. To maintain a dynamic landscape year-round, DK envisions spaces to express themselves in a variety of ways and allow for a variety of activities, all while surrounded by interesting textures.
